Darthouse isn’t on the App Store yet, and a small group of testers gets it first.

Signing in

My code hasn’t arrived

Check your junk folder, then ask for another. A code works for 10 minutes, and you can ask for 3 every 15 minutes. After 5 wrong tries, wait 15 minutes.

Can I sign in without an email?

Not for now. Everyone needs an account, and email is the only way in.

Scoring

A dart was scored wrong

Use Fix a dart, or Undo. After a game, you can report it from your game history. That corrects a local game. It never changes the result of an online game, though it does help improve scoring.

It can’t find my board

Go to Settings, then Camera (Scoring on iPad), then Check camera. You’ll need a steel-tip bristle board, with the iPhone or iPad held still on a stand.

Other players

Someone’s being offensive

Open their profile, or use the menu during an online game, then choose Report or Block. We store each report, and people working on Darthouse read it. For something serious, email support@darthouse.app with their tag and when it happened. If someone’s in danger, call your local emergency number first.

What does blocking do?

Neither of you can find the other in search, they can’t add you or invite you, neither of you can join a room the other’s in, and Find a match won’t put you together. They aren’t told. A game you’re already in carries on. You see a drawn board instead of their camera, and the score stays live. They still see your board when it’s your throw. There’s no rematch afterwards.

I saw something on someone’s camera

Report them and choose “Something inappropriate on camera”. Video and photos aren’t recorded, so tell us what you saw and when.

My account’s been banned

A ban signs the account out everywhere, and it can’t be used to play. Email us if you think that’s wrong, and we’ll take a look. You can still get a copy of your data or delete the account from that screen. The rules are in the terms.

Your data

Stop sending pictures of my board

It’s off unless you said yes. To stop it, go to Settings, then Privacy & data, and turn off Help improve scoring. That clears anything still waiting on your device. Here’s what it sends.

Delete pictures I’ve already sent

Go to Settings, then Privacy & data, then Delete pictures already sent. That opens an email to privacy@darthouse.app with this install’s code filled in. If no mail app opens, the code appears on screen, so you can send it yourself. Without the code we may not be able to find them, and it’s lost when you delete the app. Otherwise we keep them for 1 year.

Get a copy of my data

Go to Settings, then Account, then Email me my data. The link in the email works for 7 days, and then the file’s deleted.

Delete my account

Go to Settings, then Account, then Delete account. You’re signed out straight away and your data goes after 30 days, unless you sign in again to cancel. A few things stay.
